Mensuration 2D (Area & Perimeter)

Chaupat aakritiyan — square, triangle, circle ka kshetrafal aur parimap. Formula yaad = marks pakke! 📐

Dosto, Mensuration 2D matlab flat (chapti) aakritiyon ka ganit — square, rectangle, triangle, circle waghairah ka Area (kshetrafal) aur Perimeter (parimap).

CET Group D mein isse 1–2 questions aate hain aur ye sabse aasan marks hain — kyunki sawal seedha formula par hote hain. Formula yaad hai to 20 second mein answer, nahi yaad to sawal chhodna padega. Bas itni si baat!

Do shabd clear kar lo: Area = andar ki jagah (unit hamesha square: cm², m²) aur Perimeter = charon taraf ki lambai (unit normal: cm, m). Chalo formulas ratt lete hain! 💪

1. Square (Varg) aur Rectangle (Aayat)

✏️ Solved Example 2 — Ulta sawal: square ka area 196 cm², perimeter? Step 1: Bhuja = √196 = 14 cm

✏️ Solved Example 3 — Rectangle ka diagonal (12 cm × 5 cm) Diagonal = √(12² + 5²) = √(144 + 25) = √169 = 13 cm ✓ (Pythagoras ka hi roop hai)

📌 Pythagoras ke famous triplets (ratt lo!) 3-4-5 · 5-12-13 · 8-15-17 · 7-24-25 — aur inke multiples (6-8-10, 9-12-15…). Exam mein yahi numbers aate hain.

3. Parallelogram, Rhombus & Trapezium

📌 π kab 22/7 aur kab 3.14? Radius mein 7 ka multiple (7, 14, 21, 28) ho to 22/7 lo — sab kuch cancel hokar poora number aayega. Warna 3.14 use karo.
✏️ Solved Example — Circumference 44 cm hai, area? Step 1: 2 × (22/7) × r = 44 → r = 44 × 7/44 = 7 cm
Step 2: Area = (22/7) × 49 = 154 cm²

5. % Badhne par Area ka Kya Hota Hai (Ch 4 ka jod)

⭐ Bhuja x% badhe to area badhta hai: 2x + x²/100 % Solved Example: Square ki bhuja 20% badhi → area kitna badha?
Step 1: 20 + 20 + (20×20)/100 = 44% ✓ (ye Chapter 4 wala successive formula hi hai!)
Check: bhuja 10 → 12; area 100 → 144, yaani 44% ✓
✏️ Type 1 — Seedha formula "Bhuja/base/radius diya hai, area ya perimeter nikalo" — bas formula lagao. Sabse aasan marks, ye kabhi mat chhodo.
✏️ Type 2 — Ulta sawal (area diya, kuch aur poocha) "Square ka area 196 hai, perimeter?" → pehle bhuja (√196 = 14), phir perimeter (56).
"Rectangle ka area 120, lambai 15 → chaudai?" → 120 ÷ 15 = 8 cm.
Rule: hamesha pehle basic maap (bhuja/radius) nikalo.
✏️ Type 3 — Kamre mein tiles / khet mein taar "Kamra 12 m × 8 m; 40 cm × 40 cm ki tiles chahiye — kitni?"
Step 1: Unit same karo: kamra 1200 cm × 800 cm = 9,60,000 cm²
Step 2: Ek tile = 1600 cm² → 960000 ÷ 1600 = 600 tiles
"Khet ke charon taraf taar" wale sawal mein perimeter lagta hai, area nahi!
✏️ Type 4 — Circle ka ulta sawal "Circumference 44 → area?" ya "Area 154 → circumference?" — dono mein pehle radius nikalo (yahan r = 7), phir dusra formula.
✏️ Type 5 — Maap badalne par area par asar Bhuja dugni → area 4 guna · bhuja teen guna → area 9 guna (area bhuja ke square se badhta hai).
Percentage mein: x% badhe → area 2x + x²/100 % badhega (20% → 44%).
Trick 1: Unit dekh ke answer pehchano
cm² = area · cm = perimeter
Options mein unit dekho — agar cm² likha hai to answer area hai. Aadhe galat options isi se cut jaate hain!
Trick 2: π ke liye 7 dhundo
Radius mein 7 → π = 22/7
r = 7, 14, 21 diya ho to 22/7 lo — 7 cancel hokar answer poora number (154, 616, 88) aata hai. Ye numbers exam mein baar-baar aate hain.
Trick 3: "Aadha" wale formulas ek saath
½ lagta hai: triangle, rhombus, trapezium
Triangle = ½bh · Rhombus = ½d₁d₂ · Trapezium = ½(a+b)h. Teeno mein ½ — ek saath yaad karo, teeno hamesha yaad rahenge.

Rectangle ka diagonal ya right triangle ka sawal aaye to calculation ki zaroorat hi nahi — 12 aur 5 dikhe to answer 13!
Trick 5: Maap badle to area par square wala asar
Bhuja ×2 → area ×4
Aur % mein: 2x + x²/100 (Ch 4 ka successive). 10% → 21%, 20% → 44%, 50% → 125%.
❌ Galti 1: Area aur Perimeter mila dena Square bhuja 12 → area 144 cm², perimeter 48 cm. Sawal dhyan se padho: "charon taraf taar/baad" = perimeter, "farsh/ghaas/rang" = area.
❌ Galti 2: Unit alag-alag rakhna Kamra metre mein aur tile cm mein — pehle dono ko same unit mein lao. 1 m² = 10,000 cm² (100 nahi!).
❌ Galti 3: Triangle mein ½ bhool jana Area = ½ × base × height. Bina ½ ke answer dugna aa jayega — aur wo option jaan-boojh kar diya hota hai!
❌ Galti 4: Circle mein radius ki jagah diameter lagana "Diameter 14 cm" diya ho to r = 7, area = 154 (616 nahi). Formula mein hamesha radius jaata hai — diameter ko aadha karna mat bhoolo.
❌ Galti 5: Bhuja dugni → area dugna sochna Bhuja dugni hone par area 4 guna hota hai (2² = 4), dugna nahi. Aur 20% badhne par area 20% nahi, 44% badhta hai.
